For this project, I was asked to transform an existing room into a functional theater space. I created a detailed layout plan for the interior and designed a mockup for the exterior door to help visualize the transformation. The goal was to make the space more engaging and inviting for the community.
Grafton Baptist Church didn’t have a dedicated space for children to perform plays or gather for creative activities. The existing room was unused and lacked functionality. The exterior door was run down and did not reflect the welcoming energy of the new space. Additionally, their original logo felt outdated, and they needed a more sleek and modern design to match their evolving identity.
I transformed the unused room into a functional and inviting theater space designed for children’s performances and gatherings. I created a clean layout that made the room feel warm, purposeful, and creative. For the exterior, I designed a fresh mockup that reflected the energy of the new interior and gave a better first impression. I also redesigned their logo to be more modern and sleek while staying true to the church’s values, helping to unify their updated visual identity across both digital and physical spaces.

I created two logos for Breathe and Heal Co, each serving a unique purpose. The primary logo is used for physical materials, while the secondary logo is designed for digital platforms. This distinction reflects the brand’s theme of the disconnect between the digital and physical worlds. Both logos align with the brand’s identity and incorporate sacred geometry, enhancing the feeling of balance and connection that the company represents.
The original side entrance was plain and uninviting, despite being one of the two main doors. To help it stand out and feel more welcoming, I redesigned the space by adding a structured frame and an awning featuring the new logo. I also included flower arrangements to bring life and warmth to the area, making it clear that this is a main entrance while staying true to the updated look and feel of the church.
This room was originally used for crafts and had only a few chairs, but it lacked personality and purpose. Since it’s one of the first rooms people see, the church wanted it to feel warm and welcoming, while also functioning as a theater space for children’s performances. I kept the craft area by adding more shelving for organized storage and integrated a stage with a classic red curtain for performances. To bring in a playful, theatrical vibe, I included mini posters where photos from the plays can be displayed, just like in real theaters. I also designed a small ticket booth where kids can collect tickets from parents and guests, turning each performance into a special event.
